Each article in My Client Builder is given a headline, whether it's a new
property or a headline for an article or posting. The headlines, and the first
40 words in the post are packaged up into a "feed" and are "syndicated" to
hundreds of other websites so those websites can use the headline as content.
When anyone clicks on the headline (that is now residing on someone else's
website), they get sent to your Client Builder.
Think of RSS as a distribution engine that takes the content on your blog and
sends it to hundreds of other websites so that when someone clicks on your
link, they come to your blog. RSS is designed for sharing headlines and other
Web content (such as your listings, for example). It's like a distributable
"what's new" for your website. Any website can now grab and display your feed,
regularly driving traffic your way.
